You do realize that the only reason why Ed Boon is on NRS, is because they PAID him to. And quite a lot. The dude is just a PR guy for the company. He is one of the OG's. That's his selling point.

Personally don’t think Ed Boon has a say in what happens anymore. He’s just following orders from higher ups. He probably hates the way the game has become too. Sad that when all the original creators of these projects pass away, the new owners of these intellectual properties are just going to constantly ruin them. We’re seeing this now more and more.

Nah, trust me if he hated what game has become, he would have left already. Every single dev I know, has left once corporate butchered their original vision. Ed Boon is there, cause they paid him to be there. He has no attachment to MK.

Ed Boon wasn't even the visionary of the game to begin with. He was a programmer and voice for MK. John Tobias and John Vogel were the ones, who designed MK look and atmosphere. John Tobias was credited with bringing the mystical/eastern feel to the world in the first place.
