To get rid of the x-ray stuff. Mortal Kombat has always been over the top but the x-ray attacks are really lame. Nothing like performing an attack that shows a spine being broken, or knives going into someone's skull, only to find out that they're not only not dead but perfectly fine afterwards...

Yeah , they are vizually great but make no sense.
They should retain crushing blows tho

I think they could implement x-rays as a sort of brutality. Like, it only cam be done in the last round and will just connect if it causes enough damage to ...well...finish the enemies healt bar

X-rays as a form of brutality/fatality is what I was thinking, as well.

IMO the x-rays really de-valued the brutal nature of fatalities. If everything is over the top, nothing is over the top, you know?
