Relatively easy. MK is generally easier than Street Fighter, Tekken or Guilty Gear. But MK also changes from game to game a lot, so it's hard to say if MK1 will be an easy game.
You should probably wait at least until some gameplay is revealed and see for yourself.

MK11 Ultimate is on sale right now for under 10 bucks. You should try it out and see if you like it and if not return it before the 2 hours is up.

very easy, the game was made simple even for those who see fighting games for the first time

Guilty Gear is def the easiest out of the bunch

easier button inputs then street fighter or tekken . no half circle stick inputs or some bs combinations for some special moves other then that its quite similar when it comes to mechanics

this is horrible advice, whether you play SF, Tekken, GG, DOA, Smash whatever the games are not easy the games get EASIER when you begin to understand the mechanics, but then you start to run into to people who also understand the mechanics of the game. A fundamentally solid player will never lose to someone who doesn't know what they are doing, no it isn't easy to pick up any fighting game especially if its your first time trying to learn how that particular game/series works, but that's the fun in playing fighting games the learning process.

Modern Street Fighter and Tekken are far easier than MK, those games have made huge steps to simplify everything, we aren't talking about 3S or SF4 anymore these games were difficult. MK is the only game without 1 button inputs, auto combos super, etc and the only game that has any complex mechanics anymore, kameos, flawless blocking, actually having to time combos.

its a weird time to be in its like a complete role reversal.

SF and Tekken are NOT far easier than MK. There has been no role reversal. Don't cope by spreading misinformation. MK is the easiest fighting game out of those 3 and it isn't even close nor can you argue it. Hence why I'm leaving this thread immediately before I lose brain cells to your copium take.

They are, Street Fighter and Tekken far easier that Mortal Kombat nowdays, MK is by far the hardest out of those 3 games and its not even close, you literally have no argument. No amount of cope is going to change that.

I think comparitively to other fighting games MK is much easier, not necessarily in execution but in understanding and combos. SF6 has the new drive features, KOF XV has a lot of great super special options for their combos. If you like fighting games I would suggest buying it and heading into practice mode and see how it feels to you. It's not as QUICK as other fighters because of the cinematic nature of the game now. IE. Old mortal kombats from 4 on back feel much quicker like traditional FGs. Mkx-Mk1 feel very paced and can be quick but it's very much slower.

I also strongly disagree with this comment. I understand your opinion - but for someone who was completely new to strive when it released I found that game unbelievably hard to adjust to.

Easy to play, Medium to learn, takes practice to master.
sg1darkcalling Oct 1, 2023 @ 9:20am
MK is easy to learn but hard to master.

You have to learn each individual fighter, their combos, their specials, how to input them correctly and consistently in the stress and heat of battle.

After that you need to learn match ups. you need to learn how other fighters work in order to know what to expect and how to defend against their strategies.

To truly learn the game you are talking about countless hours of practice against players who have been playing this game for years a decade even
sg1darkcalling Oct 1, 2023 @ 9:21am
You need to learn how and when to block and throw effectively. How to manage range. How to get through your opponents defense.
mk is harder than other fighting games
