maybe you can work there and do there next story for them they are all ways looking for more help from the fans:
xD
In saying that I know there are talented devs and writers in Netherrealm and i'm hoping they can deliver with this one, they have a semi fresh canvas to start again and hopefully if it's half as good as MK9 then it may turn out ok.
If they do a good job setting up origins for characters in the early days it could provide a fresh perspective, only time will tell and I won't judge it until it's out and I see for myself.
nice bait i guess
Well to be fair, Shang was probably the only thing that's good about the story. Yeah he's a badguy, and in NRS terms, he has to lose. Compared to other bad guys, he didn't do too badly. Shao got absolutely CLOWNED on, for example. He's the biggest joke of the entire franchise at this point.
As for Cary, not sure about that.... I know that Richard left, and White Guy Male Raiden does make an appearance, with a bulldog face, hilarious voice while being absolutely useless. No wonder Richard left.
Thing is, at the time games could not afford elaborated narratives. So he did pretty good with what he had
But as the time went on, Mk ended up falling in the classic narrative traps : time travel and multiverse

Who cares? It will be fun anyway.
