-They're quick and/or skippable.
-They must not require any sort of special match conditions to be used (look into current brutalities, for what not to do).
-They must not be stupid (such as that bomb penguin crap, back in Trilogy).
-They must not require crazy ass inputs to pull off.
But, to be honest, if it was up to me there'd be only a single fatality per character, a stage fatality for every stage and no x-rays/fatal blows at all.
And, still on the finishers subject, them ♥♥♥♥♥♥ babalities and friendships are one of the dumbest things to happen with this franchise. Take all them stupid ass ♥♥♥♥ and shove it for all I care.
Thats what i also thought. They brought back all the other finishers already, bringing animalities back in the current game would finally complete the cycle
Agree.
- This first one could apply to all finishers.
- I also dont like the "mercy" stuff that was a requirement in MK3logy. Would rather see it being a straighfoward finisher
- Vanila MK3 animalities were all awesome , but agree, some of the ones introduced in UltimateMK3 were ridicullous. Penguim as you said, elephant trumpet xD
The one’s in UMK3 were classics and amazing. You guys are clearly not true MK fans. Everything packed in UMK3 was perfect from friendships to babalities. The only one that could potentially go is babalities but even then. They were all fun. Something modern games lack nowadays.
This transformation to sharks that bite your head off, is just more excuse for a fatality. They need to rethink this.
What do you mean by that ? As in, "not canon" ?
If its the case, no finisher is really a canonical thing. Very feel moments we had a canon fatality happening, and some fatalities have really silly characteristics, like the new Johnny Cage one, where there is a convenient walk of fame tile with the name of the enemy just there xD
Should Sonya, a human, transform to a bird? No. But Kotal becoming a jaguar makes sense. If they bring this feature back, don't make it a universal finisher for everyone.
Got it. But as i said, no finisher really needs to make sense, like the example i gave about Johnny. Would he order a walk of fame tile for every enemy he fights just in case he decides to do that fatality ? xD Or would Liu Kang really be able to summon a MK arcade cabinet and make it fall upon his enemies ?
I think they could give each character two forms of animality. A "Brunimality" ( an animality that could be pulled off as the last attack, like any brutality) and a proper cinematic finisher move.
but as far as the animalities go, i like them, i wouldnt mind seeing them be brought back, not my favorite "non fatality" in the series, that would have to go to the hara kiri but i think they are decent finishers that deserve to be brought back. i wonder what havik's animality would be?
Btw, Scorpion's animality was the best.
RIght it doesnt have to make sense. Thats fine. Overall I think they already have way too many "ality". I am not sure a brunimality would add any real value. They should spend time adding more chars.
Really they just need enough fatalities to make the chars feel signature enough so it doesn't end up like MKA with those generic lazy finishers.
