Why is MK1 declaring war on the characters looks?

Hot girls do sell, that is how I ended up buying Final Fantasy on EPIC (Tifa) but compared to my boy Raiden... Now he looks like a peasant, a cook or something. He also turned into a chinese dude. I still remember Raiden from that MK TV series back in my youth...

things change and devs decided to change the characters - cant have it your way - why dont u go work for wb if u want to change how the characters look - the facts are stated - its a new generation and u know why the characters are different because every series of mortal kombat games has to look different plain and simple - its one road or no road ....

Nah, I don't have to do any of that, as a customer I have another option. That option is don't like it, don't buy it. That is exactly what I am doing.
They are free to pander as much as they want to the woke crowd but that will not get them sales, its the other way around.

You got it backwards, MK1 Raiden actually looks like a kung fu master, the old design was literally chef boyardee.

while mortal kombat graphics/gameplay etc tend to be 'better' with each iteration (although i still think mk9/mkx gameplay are the best), the character designs seem to be going more and more downhill.

every base roster female is now asian (i have no problem with asian characters, i have a problem when they CHANGE a beloved character's entire identity). Could you imagine if they all of a sudden made Chun Li change into Colombian or American? There is literally no diversity anymore, every female is now a skinny asian girl with no boobs/butt/curves.

In an interview a while back, I believe one of the MK devs said they are clothing the girls because 'it is more practical' or some nonsense. However, notice that the female characters in MK1 still have the single most IMPRACTICAL piece of clothing possible, being high heels. Also, MMA fighters literally wear less clothes so they can move around more easily.

There's no point trying to ask NRS about it either, cause their answer have no logic to it, its purely and simply due to catering to woke culture which is ruining everything this generation.

It's pretty pathetic how far this game's dropped in terms of female character design.

And that’s just it every single mortal kombat game doesn’t look the same because the characters are designed differently. And as a fan I’m for sure buying this game when I get the chance
