MK2 is still king

Sorry but fake dial-a-combos ruined it but at least in 3 they added run (which I thought was a great feature)
MK2 was great because you could make up your own combos and it really was about SKILL and not MEMORIZATION OF COMBOS
IMO the only game that got combos right is Soul Calibur
For nostalgia purposes I buy all mortal kombat games but 2 is still the KING of all MKs

mk2 is not the best , this game is all about spamming sweep kick with kitana and Mileena in this game you can not counter sweep also spamming Sai Throw

Armageddon is the best, MK9 is 2nd place. 3rd is MK4 Gold

Armageddon was gold on it's time.
Right now, whooh. All those 3d era games are so ugly.
Even first ones look better, lol.

MK9 -- best reboot of a fighting game
MKX -- most fun gameplay of a MK game
MK:SM -- best fighting game spin-off

MK9 all the way. Its the only MK game I bothered learning the combo's and put serious ours into. The OG MK still has a special place in my heart for being unique for its day and the only game that game me massive thumb blisters playing on handhelds on long car trips.
