Actually a bit concerned about MK1 now...
Liu Kang has a 1 meter burn 49% combo at corner along with being able to zone with his dragon projectile into flying kick from a screen away...Kenshi has a 46% combo without needing corner and no meter. Maybe just maybe they went a little too far with the combo damage in this game...How this ever made it to the stress test is beyond me. Ruh-roh. At least in MK11 those combos could only be achieved with krushing blows and they were once per match. I'm still into the game I just find fighting games that can do this much damage with so little effort unopposed to be...disappointing.

Well, Liu Kang definitely stroke me as a bit too overpowered indeed, even with the obvious "Cover-Hero" and actual "Universe-Creator" bonus - but you would be a true jester to think that MK1's fighter's always will stay in their 1.0 state, for as long as the game can be played.

Balancing patches WILL happen, for better or worse, overtime and i can already smell the Fatal Blow's being the very first point on NRS nerf-agenda - don't need to be a genius to see that coming.

Were you talking to me or yourself with this comment? lol Don't know why you took it so personally I'm just saying it's a concern for the moment. I know balances and patches are a thing I was just opening up a discussion about it in its current state which shouldn't be immune from criticism and personal opinion but you had to go ahead and act like a clown..."don't need to be a genius" "you would be a true jester"...Like what rationale person responds to a discussion like that? I said it wasn't a deal breaker for me but man that really rubbed you the wrong way didn't it? You okay bro?

Not worried for Liu kang, He just needs small balancing.

Subzero now... he needs to be nerfed hard. The size of his ice clone covers 80% of the screen.

Who cares, its a stress test with 1/6th of the characters/kamoes and people are already screaming nerfs lol. Also have you seem optimal combos in MK9/MKX? In those you are doing 40-50% damage easy in a normal match where players know what they are doing (same with MK11). I would much rather be juggled to a 50% combo, giving the opponent a chance to drop it, then doing a 3 hit combo into a fatalBlow and still eat 40-50% like the meta in MK11.

Modern FG players are such whiners and they never actually give games time to develop even when they are not out. The second something is not to their liking they complain. SF players are complaining the game is too slow, MK11 players are complaining the combos are too long, NRS haters are sying the game is MK11 1.5 ...bla bla bla, its getting annoying.

I just like MK (NRS) games period and I'm willing to give new mechanics/systems a chance before calling for nerfs or drastic changes after 3 days. I personally am liking what I'm seeing because it looks closer to the older MK games then MK11, which I personally grew to dislike over time.

I'm looking forward to trying these characters, they look fun and new compare to the regular run of the mill MK character. Fire God Liu Kang looks like he's a Dragon Ball FighterZ character in MK, and Kenshi is a puppet master type character, can't wait to try the gameplay.

I right there with you!

Also the more characters/kameos that get revealed the more crazy stuff (and player expression) we will see. People are only seeing 4 characters with 3 kameos and each of those 3 kameos dictate how your playstyle and combo routes are. Now think about a full roster of 24 characters and then choosing up to 16+ assists to change up your gameplay!

What we are seeing in this stress test is just the tip of the ice burg imo and I can't wait to see more and how much crazier it may get.

Drahmin assist, Li Mei assist, Cyrax assist, shut up and take my money!

You cant please everyone and to be fair if you cant complain on the internet where can you?

Thats like the whole point of the interwebs ha!

49%... 46%... O, noes! Someone hasn't played fighting games prior to the 2010s and their ratta-tat-tat 100-hit combo "homogenisation era"...

Have you seen Subzeros ice clone which appears to have some sort of enhancement that allows 3 clones at once? This covers the entire screen, you cannot escape it.

This needs to be nerfed before release.

Yeah I have seen everything and its a looks like a very cool move for sub zero that NEEDs to stay and 100% will stay. Ever played MKX sub where he could ice clone you in the corner and do 50/50s all day? or what about MK11 Sub, where his whole game plan is 50/50s? Let stuff FULLY release before calling for nerfs in a pre-released game.

I was actually happy to see Subs Ice clone back and I'm not even a sub player. I say give ALL characters uniquely "busted" stuff so each character feels powerful and thats is what each character in the stress test showed.

FG players are too whiny to the point they will complain about pre-release frame data (already was stated it was NOT final), moves, movement speed,...etc before the full game is even released. I don't care if everything is busted as long as its fun to play and gives me the freedom to play a character how I want.
