WORST GUEST CHARACTERS EVER

In the past we had
Leatherface,predator,jason,freddy kreuger,robocop,ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER TERMINATOR, SYLVESTER STALLONE RAMBO, SPAWN the best ever comic char from movie+cartoon.
These are soooo damn cool. Just need Ash williams,Conan barbarian & Judge dredd , Riddick for maximum epicness. :D :D
, The joker,alien,kratos - also worldwide recognizable characters

But what im see now
3 NO NAMES(sorry to anyone who is fan of these characters),but i think im speak for A LOT of ppl when i say I have 1000% no idea who these characters are , and I 1000% dont even want to know. They look like superman in different clothes,. Of course i googled and findout , their from some comic books . It looks like the only people who know who these characters are - United states citizens , who read comics books. It looks like its the theme -Comics books. So im honestly not expecting see any cool characters next. if they give us 3 no names
Because THIS IS NOT WORLDWIDE KNOWN CHARACTERS.
In fact i seen the guy with moustache first time ever only in 2022, from some "popular youtube vid",

Ed boon need to start carrying over guest characters from previous games
How can u lose such epic characters?Becaus think about this. when else will we get them into a video game Terminator,Spawn,Rambo Omg all in 1 game. Jason,Predator,Freddy kreuger,Leatherface. OMG. This is the best characters ever, We need to make protest and bring them back.Because theyh are EPIC

Actually Omni-Man and Homelander became very well known because of the series that Amazon produced, so unlike most the other guests they are literally striking while the iron is hot (whereas the other guests were banking on nostalgia). I will agree with Peacemaker though, even though there was a new Suicide Squad movie and the HBO Max spinoff series, he's still not anywhere near as relevant as Omni-Man and Homelander are. But he's also the only one actually owned by WB, so there's that.

Also Disney now owns the rights to Alien and Predator, so don't expect them to ever come back.

And yet in the US no one shuts up about them. I assume some parts of Europe as well, but either way they are well known in their main circles, if only through osmosis (I personally have never seen any of the series or movies in question). And considering NRS is a US-based company owned by Warner Bros it makes sense they would put focus on US-based IPs, for better or worse.

Calling these guys "No names" then calling out Riddick, Dredd, and Conan...lol Come on man these guys are at least fresh in everyones minds and being recently upfront in the world and not banking on nostalgia with nothing recent to bank off of. Don't get me wrong I don't disagree with ANY of your choices but you gotta start thinking clearly my man. I do hope to see Dredd, Conan, Shredder, or The Mask in the following guest slots because the theme of this game so far is comic book characters who made it to movies/tv.(After MK11 I just don't think Ash Williams is going to happen...sad face...)

The game is clearly try to capture the younger audience. I think people should realized that the era of video games catering to gen x and y is long gone.

Blame MGM, they cut Ash to make their own Evil Dead game (which by the way, how did that turn out?). It was because of that we got Robocop instead, since MGM owns both characters, and yet people kept assuming Joker replaced Ash.

I really don't understand why MK continue to place guest characters instead of MK characters. Seriously Idgaf about these super heroes and there's zero reason for them to be here.
Also Quan-Chi and Ermac have lame designs. Takeda 's one is just terrible .

At this point I'll take the game only If there' s a gear system and numerous alternate costumes because too many designs are lame and boring.

The guests are just there to bring in new players who wouldn't have cared for MK before, all guests in products are designed for the same function. And sadly they put more effort in these 3 new guests than they are for their main MK characters this time around.

Also don't hope for good costumes. We all remember how MK11 handled them, especially for the female characters. Now even the male outfits are boring and generic.

Agree that Conan is a Big pop culture icon but Ash, Dredd and Riddick are just niche cult chars , far away from worldwide figures
Right now, Omni and Homelander are much more reconizable cause,as others alread pointed out, they had their respective series going on

The only thing that realy makes me mad, is traditional MK chars being sold as cut content
