Why are the women in MK so ugly?

We loved MK because of the great atmosphere, beautiful women and men, and now all we have are beautiful men. Bring back the sexy women and the costumes, or do the same with the men in the game, dress them up head to toe, make them scrawny and scary because that's the double standard now.

Or make a switch in the settings - show scary/show beautiful ones with costumes and revealing clothes.
This is discrimination against men, it deprives us of choice

This is the only reason I haven't bought the game yet

People like you may have gave the entire franchise its feet and held it up until gaming has become the mainstream behemoth it is today; however, they no longer need to appeal to you. They're given more investment money than people spend on the game total, and they answer to those people now, not you. Expecting loyalty from a brand is cringe.

Or it can be the simple case when men who are playing too much video games where there are anime characters in game don't know anymore how real women look like.

I don't think that MK1 women are ugly, I just don't like the clothes they are wearing because MK was always somehow revealing.
Also, this doesn't mean that there are no better skins in game or later via dlcs.

Bigger problem is that Jade is missing and Jade is the hottest one in MK.

Will be interesting to see how long the "investors" stay on board, if there is no one around anymore to create hype for this franchise, because one thing is for sure, the casuals who play this game for one week and then move on won't create all of that hype.

Sure, MK will continue to sell for the next 2-3 iterations, but what comes after they scared every fan away ? Can the game survive solely by paid shills promoting it on youtube and twitch ?

The franchise is getting more and more anti consumer and trashy as time goes on: (flooded with mtx, battlepasses, fomo based ingame shops, 5 ingame currencies to confuse people about their spending habbit, characters gated behind preorder boni, 50-1000 hour long grinds to get desirable items, woke nonsense, trash pc ports, overtuned characters, cutscenes constantly interrupting the gameplay, art style, animations and character designs are getting worse with every new iteration,..... ).

I'm sorry, but this is no less discrimination against beautiful people who take care of themselves to be beautiful and healthy. You discriminate and humiliate the feelings and dignity of nice people by making everyone ashamed of their sexuality and creating a feeling of inferiority in people because they were born beautiful and healthy and most importantly take care of their health. The same "not beautiful" women love and want to look at handsome and healthy men, that's DOUBLE standards.

I CALL ON ALL healthy people who love beauty and take care of their health to FIGHT for the opportunity to look at the beautiful and not to act on the side of people who claim that it is wrong to be beautiful and healthy.

The right wing is about what makes the world better place in general, the equality,fun for everybody,freedom of speech,right to be free... etc.

Your entire response is cringe. Also I don’t think the women are ugly I see they wanted to go for a more realistic look. I don’t like Tanya’s new design I preferred her old Egyptian looking one. Also yeah that’s fair you get to have men fight shirtless which not only impractical in a fight to the death but sexualizing as well. I know women look at these fictional women and get all furious about how it sets unrealistic standards for female beauty and the stress of society putting emphasis on how a female should look to be attractive I understand that. But if you think that’s a female only problem you’re sorely mistaken I’m a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stick man with a beer belly. My ♥♥♥♥ is the size of a pinky and I look like Denzel Crocker from Fairly Odd Parents. Does it hurt my self esteem oh absolutely. Do I envy when I see handsome men in video games built like Greek gods, oh of course. But do I get offended by this unrealistic depiction of male perfection and start complaining about it, no because that’s a waste of time, solves nothing, and I don’t need society to tell me what makes a male attractive. Hell my college roommate was ripped and his girlfriend was on the fat side but they still loved each other very much. There is someone for everyone. The societal definition of beauty doesn’t have a absolute impact on society as much as everyone thinks. Also sometimes if you wanna be attractive you gotta work for it like everything else in life. Sure you might get lucky and be blessed with good genes. But you don’t just sit back and wait for it to happen that’s not how life works. You want something you work for it.
