How Woke is too Woke For You? What are the Things That Cross the Line For You and Make You Not Buy the Game?

I just want to ask very simple question. What are the things that would cross the line for you and would make you go "well, never buying this game, simply not interested, not for me".

There are certain type of people on this planet, who think that everything should be okay and i'm giving easy hypothetical example: Netherrealm would make character "Johnny Cage" gay or bi and only reaction from these people would be "yeah, nice, amazing, why not, doesn't matter, about time"

And then there are other type of people who think that changing already established, popular, fan-favorite characters into something completely different is just wrong and should not happen, ever. They believe that it's cheap and unnatural way to bring gay character into the game. Instead if the studio wants to bring gay character into the game, they should make completely new character for that.

But these are just two random examples. Things that could make you go "no way, not buying" can be way more, than just sexuality change. So that's why i'm asking, where is YOUR line, is there even a line? If half of the already established characters get changed into gay, bi or trans, would that still be okay for you? Would you still buy the game regardless? Johnny Cage bi, Sonya Blade bi etc.

PS: If you like everything about this game and you are completely fine with every possible decision that Netherrealm could make in this game (in others words, you support this game, no matter what), please do not participate on this thread, thank you!

Things that cross the line for me is:

Changing the Ethnicity and Gender of a character that already contained an Ethnicity and Gender established in previous versions of the games in their main lore.
'm in favor of creating "New" characters if they need more characters from different Ethnicities or Genders!

Disfigure previous beauty female (Male) characters and make them ugly characters that never had this characteristic in the game's lore, and were always known as beautiful and sensual women. I'm in favor of creating new ugly characters if that's what the developer wants, but not destroying the design of characters that already is known as pretty and sexy girls characters from previous versions of the game.
I don't like it when they remove the sensuality of female warriors. I like to play with attractive and sexy characters!

Im against Inclusion of protests in games of different ethnicities, genders or cultures transmitted through the characters as a form of protest. Everyone should be equally respected and real political matters should be outside the fictional world of games. Except cases where the game portrays something real!

I don't like it when the game's story stops having interesting content and focuses on just concepts of Race, Gender, and Ethnicity.
Diversity in games these days is critical to a wide audience, but it shouldn't be the focus of gaming, we're looking for good stories and fun when we play games.
I'm sure that if the developers want it, everyone can have their favorite characters, there's room for everyone, creativity has no limits.

How many will ♥♥♥♥♥ if Blaze returns as a smoking hot chick? Like 4 dudes. How many SF players will complain if Ryu shows up on SF7 with a Freddy Mercury moustache in a gay relationship with Ken who now wears one of them crop midriff t-shirts with his Gi? Aki isn't fang, like Josie isn't Bruce or Christie isn't Eddie. Apples to oranges.

Also I haven't seen anybody mention how NRS is literally taking the mickey with that win pose of Tanya. They knew that something was coming. They thought they were being so meta. Probably didn't go down like they expected tho.

When they start uglifying the character designs, inserting real world political stuff even though no one asked, makes no sense, and there's no reason to it, and just generally altering things for the sake of politics even though fans preferred those things as they were previously.

Those weirdos at NRS already crossed the line long ago, everything in MK11 was ♥♥♥♥, ugly ass women, LGBT agenda bs, forced diversity, more ugly women, and the excessive amount of sausage. I know the dev team is into men but it was just ridiculous the amount of half naked dudes. MK1 looks like the same crap so it is an easy skip for me.

Depends how woke it is and if any woke retcons are made to a character I really like. I won't sit out a whole game if it's a relatively small level of wokeness, and I mean actual wokeness, not the stupid stuff that neckbeards in these forums frequently cry about. I'm not a fan of companies pushing political agendas in media and refuse to support anything that's explicitly or obviously politically motivated
