Guest Characters
Have completely ruined this series for me. MK9 was the last real MK game and then it went to hell. I have no idea how people think that guest character stuff is cool. I mean, I'm hearing rumors that they are putting Megan Fox as a guest character in this? Homelander from that lame, overrated Seth Rogan TV show? In Mortal Kombat? Peacemaker? Yeah, no thanks. Done with this series. It's normie dog**** now.

I worked on MK 11 as an outsource, we had this discussion with a lot of people there. We were all sick of NRS decisions which resulted in a lot of people even leaving and never coming back to MK. Sadly WB is using MK to promote shows and other universes, MK has completely lost its soul since MK9.

And to people like this Kurrrishi who defend guests by saying MK 9 had guests too. MK9 was the first game to bring guests and it was only 1 (the exclusive PS3 is not really guest) and besides it was the FIRST time they were bringing guests, had we known it is gonna become a tradition we would have been upset about it back then as well.

Peacemaker was awesome, The Boys was okay, and Megan Fox as April O'Neal well fine i'll take it!

The discount Ultraman from that crap overrated show and a non fighter character from that weird tmnt movie, awesome, saved me some season pass money.

hmm yeah but i cant think of another character for Ms. Fox, in transformers she just played a sidekick.

P.S. Peacemaker is great and its probly the closest we ever get to DREDD in MK, so i'll live!

You're hearing rumors and it's causing you to rage about guest characters? Should at least wait until guests are actually confirmed

The guest themselves are not the real problem, but the quantity. Two for MK9 was okay and even Kratos didn't appear in all the versions, but four in MKX and FIVE in MK11 is too much.

Although they could also choose ones that fits the series... Joker, Robocop, Rambo, Leather Face were really out of place for example.

I didn't like Akuma in Tekken. It's like you were trying to play two completely different games in one.

I didn't like Akuma in Tekken. It's like you were trying to play two completely different games in one.

I'm totally biased here because he's one of my favourite fighting game characters (and I still couldn't try Tekken 7), but I could see that he doesn't quite fit Tekken's overall gameplay.
However, character-wise it does, he seems at home among the Mishimas, Brian Fury, the Devil Gene, etc.

Having him in the main story was terrible though lol.

You know that MK9 had 2 guest characters right? Freddy Krueger on all platforms and additionally Kratos on PS3
