Why is this game not on sale ?
Why is this game not at 50% off in this steam sale ??
Id like to buy it; but i'm not purchasing it at 60 euros
Is there any way it could get cheaper before the sale ends ?

Most games don't have huge sales shortly after releasing a game. Even 20% at this point would be unlikely. Sometimes you see promotional sales at launch of around 10-15%.

We probably won't see 50% off until mid 2024 at the earliest as is historically what we have seen from Square Enix. Keep in mind it is Square Enix that decides if their games will have a sale and not Steam.

Are you serious?

Like in all honestly are you actually asking why a game released less than a month ago isn't on sale? And even asking for 50% off?

I can't fathom how anyone could actually have a brain that works that way.

No need to be so rude; i was just asking a simple question; if you dont have the answer; then i dont need your snide comments.
Plenty of games got sales in the past when they came very early before a steam sale happened.

Yeah, stop complaining. Pay the money or don't play the game. I wouldn't expect that steep of a discount until at least a year from now. The game has 80+ hours of content and is amazing. This whining because you can't access it is just dumb.

You literally asked for a 50% discount for a game that's only a month old. Again, how could anyone even conceive of that being a normal thing?

I bought it for 20% off through a site called green man gaming, and i'm sure there are other key seller sites with similar discounts, but you probably won't see 50% off for a while, maybe around the holidays at the end of the year if you're lucky.

I got mine via CDKeys for 20% on release date.

This isn't the first time I've seen someone have this take on a different forum. They were asking why the pre-order for RE4 remaster wasn't on sale... Unironically.

But to answer your question OP is because it's a brand new game. If you want a discount don't expect the main sources to give you one so soon after release. Just look at third party sites that sell for cheaper.

Mmm, yeah. Maybe if it were 2015 it would be less egrgious.....I actually remember Neptunia 1 and 2 both had 50% off sales at launch.....but this is 2023 and such a thing, especially for an AAA publisher, would be pretty ridiculous to even consider.
