Advanced Magic Mastery, does it even do anything?

In my new party after clearing the first 4 I'm with all the casters and Osvalds passive of the name in the title seemed awesome but so far, I see absolutely nothing from it, what the hell is it supposed to even do?

It does what it says, it gives Advanced Magic an extra turn.

I mean theres definitely a Osvald build out there that utilize the passive if you use advance magic more often. But other than that, you don't really need it.

It took a bit for me to realize what it did, but it turns out its quite literal. "Raises the number of times the equipping character can use more intense spells by 1." If you look at his skill list, you see "Advanced Magic", which says "Boosts the intensity of a single ally's spells 2 times". Thus, Advanced Magic Master increases the number of times Advanced Magic (and once you max the class, Alephan's Wisdom) will activate.
