Hire NPC unavailable in the endgame

I am Having trouble finding Alrond in the endgame chapter ( I have completed his butler side quest and was unable to find him after I started the endgame

Am I missing something or did is he just unavailable

The endgame chapter is just kind of ♥♥♥♥. It is technically Night in the endgame chapter, but I don't think it is consistent.

In day, he is inside. At night, he should be just outside the mansion. But that means you are totally restricted on who can recruit him.

Thank you, I meant he is in neither of those locations so I was wondering if anyone found him in a third location (I wanna find him hes quite good)

Granted I haven't tried to recruit him, but uh.....since he's hanging around both in day and night all four characters should be able to, unless they locked specifics ones out.
