you can also find 2 accessories in the game that increase the spawn rate of the octopuffs and the Caits.
And you can find 2 of each accesory, so im pretty sure they stack

Nice! What drops those or what are the items called? The wiki isn't up to snuff yet

I found two octopots and one cait powder so far. Haven't really noticed an increase in the amount of octo or cait encounters yet though. In fact I haven't encountered one since I equipped them lol.
