I tried Ochette's first since her other chapter bosses where push overs. It got like 3 turns back to back at the opening of the fight and killed two people one of which was my healer so it was a lost cause. Just a non-stop loop of olive of life>death>repeat until everyone was dead.
Then I tried Throné, same thing happened dude got three turns at the start. Hit everyone for like 1500 several times, wiped out Agnea and Themenos so I bailed on that one for now as well.
Tried Hikari's last night and was actually shocked at how easy that chapter was considering it's basically a gaunlet of 4 boss fights back-to-back. Cleared it with no issues, no one even died besides my under leveled Angea (She was level 40 compared to everyone else's 57-55).
From the comments I guess I'll try Ozvald's next. I also have a feeling Agnea's might be pretty easy since her story chapter bosses are super lame difficulty wise, of course it could be like Ochette where all the bosses throughout are super easy but the last one is insanely hard.
I just found it weird since I have pretty solid 'end game' equipment where literally nothing in shops have better stats than what I've found yet some bosses (like Hikari's) are only doing 300-500 damage per hit, but others like Throné/Ochette's bosses are hitting 1000-1500 multiple times with the exact same gear on. There must be some sort of higher stats or something on the different chapter 5 bosses because the damage variance is crazy.
Hikari's damage is pretty insane with a spread out peacock strut and armour corrosive, a max boosted latent power nuke usually does about 36,000 damage per hit so he's just MVP for pretty much every single boss fight. No one else can come close to hitting his damage numbers even a max boosted Throné can only do 9,999x2. Only have Intenvor and Armsmaster unlocked so maybe that will change once I can get the other two secret jobs unlocked, however still working my way up the tower and the water monster is waaaay too op to even attempt again.
(Long winded rambling sorry!)
TLDR: If you take too long, your team become glass cannons, but funny enough that makes Olive of Life spamming actually viable. Yes I know I know I'm bad at the game
Boss' rain drains character's max HP over time. He can also deny healing which was a tad annoying. But if you have a mostly damage centric party you should be able to tear through him pretty quickly, I was surprised at how my team was doing it. I was using a stall strat with Throne's Veil of Darkness. Castti was my starter so this was the first Chapter 4 boss I've faced, and despite the healing side of Concoct not working because of this boss, the damage side will also help torment him with debuffs and damage. Since he has physical based moves, Throne's EX skill literally shuts those down for a while. My Hikari is Warrior so thankfully he could whack this boss with some efficiency, but the HP drain can whittle people down: I noticed Agnea became extremely fragile to the point where, yeah, a regular Olive of Life would be enough to get her back up. Judging by how people generally set up combos for massive damage, if you follow those builds he shouldn't be as difficult
