Beat the final boss

Have yet to watch the Epilogue, but I would say it was a fairly challenging and climatic final boss, Much better and more fun than the last game's final boss. I think the problem with the first game's final boss, is not only the final area which requires you to do an 8-boss rush (not to mention the stuff that you get the connects the eight stories is a bunch of lore dumps, while we still get that in 2 it is at least regulated via several journal scraps written by Ori and one longer journal written by Tanzy as well as a few visions four visions providing additional context on the members of the Moonshade Order), followed by a two phase final battle that is a massive difficulty spike. And need I mention there is no save point in the final dungeon? Plus the "ending" to the first game is kinda weak, just a sendoff to a side character that we barely got to know. But, Vide the Wicked was a fun challenge, and both parties on the battlefield at once is pretty awesome. Looking forward to the Epilogue! And maybe later I will start a new playthrough with a different protagonist just cause (also different endgame and epilogue dialog). I did my first playthrough with Temenos and while I may ultimately decide for myself, anyone want to suggest who I should start with in my next playthrough?

Yeah Temenos is pretty cool. I especially liked it when he goes into his "detective mode." I'm currently doing a second run where my main character is Ochette, so maybe do that. Oh and congratulations on beating the final boss.

Well I have given it some thought, I think I will start my next playthrough with Castti the Apothecary.

Oh and by the way? If you were curious as to what ever happened to Ori after the travel banter between Partitio and Osvald stated she was still alive, after defeating Vide, you can find her unconscious in the inn at Crackridge. You can't interact with her though, but it is a neat little detail.

I am watching the credits now, and I like that in the epilogue, the order of the party members that say their farewells are in reverse order in which you first recruited each traveler.
