OCTOPATH TRAVELER II

Second Scholar, Apothecary, and Merchant licenses
I honestly don't want to bother with the former two since those requires you to steal multiple times from somewhat rare enemy mobs (Elementals and Devil Deer). Just sounds ultra tedious. I might get the third Merchant license just for the heck of it, I have 600,000+ leaves after all. My question is, Is having multiple characters with the same job even worth it? For the superboss, I would imagine so. However I don't plan to tackle him, only the game's finale. I mean, I am hoping Vide the Wicked isn't that hard if everyone has decent enough jobs and are between level 55-60, even if they each have a different secondary job. If anyone is curious, here are the jobs for each of my characters:

Ochette: Thief
Castti: Cleric
Throne: Dancer
Osvald: Arcanist
Partitio: Warrior
Agnea: Apothecary
Temenos: Inventor
Hikari: Armsmaster

Do you think I'd be all set for the game's finale? I plan to save in a separate save file just in case.

Vide the Wicked isn't that hard, especially if you abuse Armsmaster's On the Hunt and go into the fight with the knowledge that you get to use all eight characters - don't be an idiot like me and forget to equip your four "idle" members. However, to back up my assertion that it's not that hard, even with half the party literally naked, I beat it on the first try with everyone around 60-70.

Honestly the only significant challenge in the game is the superboss, which isn't so much a difficulty spike as it is a rocket ship to planet hell.

I bet it is. Galdera was hard in the first game and apparently he is even harder here.

The third Scholar and Apothecary licenses aren't that bad. Elementals can be found right outside the Scholar's guild, and Devil Deer pretty much make up Wellows Manor. They aren't necessary though as you said. I have found duplicates to be useful though. I had two other Clerics along with Temenos in the final boss, and it helped a lot with healing and defending through the damage, even though I was somewhat underleveled. Your team should probably be fine though.

Well I did get the third cleric license so I have that just in case, I think/hope I should be fine if I have two healers on one team and two on another. Those healers being Temenos, Castti, Agnea, and Osvald (counting him since the Arcanist Dark and Light attacks can heal HP and SP respectively). And Agnea's Latent Ability will be good with Healing Touch. In fact, I think I will have Agnea and Temenos on one team and Osvald and Castti on the other. The Inventor has an ability to heal the Latent Gauge so that would be good if Temenos is on the same team as Agnea.

Also, I did try to look for Almighty Soulstones for the third Scholar license. I read from here: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/octopath-traveler-2-how-to-unlock-all-secodary-jobs-and-secret-jobs/1100-6512052/, that you could find Elementals outside of Abandoned Village, but I couldn't find any (I looked on the path outside of the village and not in the cave/dungeon so maybe they are there). And as for the third Apothecary license? House Willows Manor may be on the bottom of my creepiest areas list in the game (Abandoned Village/Healeaks is creepier for its backstory which we get to see no less and Lostseed is creepier for its horrifying implications), but the place still has NOPE written all over it for me. Also isn't the encounter rate rather low in that area?

So I tried looking for Elementals where you listed. I tried using nighttime and the Hunter's rarer monster skill, but I couldn't find any. I would still suggest looking for them outside the Scholar's guild as that's where I got my items from. I think it does need to be nighttime for the Elementals to appear, and that the Hunter's skill helps with the spawn rate. And yeah, House Wellows is a little creepy. And the encounter rate is a little low admittedly. You'll probably have to run in circles quite a bit. The only other enemies that spawn there are Shadow Revenants, so at least the enemy spawns should be consistent,
