Next character after Osvald ?

I just finished Osvald chapter 2. He is my only character so far, and he is level 11. I would like to start up another character now and bring them up to the same level, then move on to the third character, and so on.... My question is, could someone please recommend a decent order to follow after Osvald ? I don't need a full list of characters, just the next couple of characters that would be a good choice for me to pick up next.

I started as Osvald, went to Throne (and if you explore the woods of Delsta you'll find something very cool and helpful to rounding out Osvald), then Themenos, then down to Ochette, rounding out the east continent/night squad. I accidentally hit the wrong port from Ochette, but you can figure out what order you want to gather your west squad.

I think after getting my last party member, Osvald was at 18 (maybe a little lower level, don't exactly recall), Throne was at 14 or 13, Themonos at 12 and Ochette was at like 11. I always throw my lowest level character into the mix so nobody gets left in the dust, and roll with a different squad all the time. If it blows up in my face so be it and I'll make a power squad, but until then I like to keep my characters as even as I can - level wise and story wise.

I started with Osvald as well. I would recommend getting Partitio early so you can start collecting lots of money during fights, and one of his passives gives you more money as well.

Yes, Osvald and Throne is the two good characters can get alot of item / information in early game.

Worth noting there's good synergy between the west continent characters and the east continent characters as well. For instance, Thronè and Temenos both have bonuses at night. There's no wrong choices though, so just go with who you like most.

Started as Osvald, got the inventor license and put it on him asap... then went and got Throne, I think I got the thief license after that, then hit up Temenos and got the Cleric License so I did a swap and made Throne a Cleric and Temenos a Thief, worked out well for Mugging/Convincing or whatever... then went and got Ochette and made her a Scholar.

I just got Agneas and the Apothecary License and I got the Warrior License and ran in to Hikari but haven't recruited him yet... seems to be working out. I basically cleared the entire East Side of the map save for the story based locations and that level 55 dungeon under the wall... working my way around the West side right now grabbing the rest of the characters and finishing up stories for my 4 main characters first.
