Are you guys using japanese or english voice?

just interested which voice language you are using
I somehow like the japanese more its more autentic and less cringe at some parts but english voice dub on other side makes it more comfartable cause´ you dont need too read everything if you dont want

Japanese with English subs. I'm used to reading subtitles and can do it quickly enough that I don't miss anything that's happening on screen. I just wish there were subtitles for all the little things they say in battle, etc.

Japanese audio. I vastly prefer to enjoy media in its original language. But I love that we get the option to enjoy it in the way we prefer.

English. Anime overacting isn't my thing, and - for me at least - would detract from the experience. From what I've heard from the English VA, it's basically masterclass. Partitio is exceptionally well voice acted, and is my favorite thus far.

imo English is pretty gud, but imo Japanese VA is better overall, it convey the emotion of the story better. That's if you can understand it without subtitles. if you needed subtitles in the first place to understand JPN then you might as well just use English VA.

using japanese, nothing against english voice actors, its just that the japanese do it better. probably because it was done with a japanese writer.
I can't do english because imagine how wrong it feels to watch family guy with japanese dubs.

I chose English as it is my preference. So far, I'd put the voice work around the same level as the English localization as the Live A Live remake. And overall, I'd say the voices range from good/great to passable with only a couple misses, although I can't really name many off the top of my head. I guess if I could pick any that was a miss, I'd say the main villain of Hikari's story, Mugen or the main villain of Partitio's story, Roque Brilliante. To me those are two examples that could of been better. On the other side of the spectrum, I'd say all eight protagonists have good voicework, and if you want two examples of villains with good voicework: Harvey from Osvald's story and Trousseau from Castti's.
