If stuck just go explore, complete others quests, do side missions.
Find altars, or guilds for secondary jobs.
By just playing the game you will eventually become stronger. Or become wealthy and buy yourself better gear.
The only time I had to “grind” is if I’m so close to a level up before a boss. Or trying to capture a specific animal for Ochette.
Difficulty is pretty much the same as in OT1, so it's very, very customizable. It can be challenging if you don't grind, but there are also many ways to "break" the game, with Path actions like Steal, Purchase, Allure and such, or exploring high level zones with reduced encounters skills to open chests with gear you're not supposed to get so soon, and farming rare encounters like Caiths and Octopuffs...
Much like what i expected.
I'll be soon be on board.
This game is a huge improvement over the first game, but it suffers from the same pitfalls that break the game and your experience with it, mainly damage uncap passive on Warrior. If you stay clear of it, the game is fun in the sense that you actually have to deal with boss rotations rather than skipping them all by killing the boss too quickly.
They have definitely added more pitfalls to this game though that lead to it breaking, some early, some late but I won't spoil them. Just know that the last warrior passive will absolutely break the game.
Lol that’s unfortunate. Was looking forward to the 45min late game bosses. That requires the best gear.
Is it even possible to hit for that?
Best weapon + lion dance + phy res debuff + boost max + latent power (the one that starts with Teng) ?
