please help keyboard controls issue

I accidentally changed the up movement key to the space bar, and then the apply button is recognized as the up movement key, so it cannot be applied.

Go to keyboard settings, click "Restore default setting" and see which key pops up for "apply changes", press that and see if it works.

I've already used that method, but there's only one space bar for the apply button, so I press the space bar, the up key is recognized first and it doesn't apply.

For me, when I try to reproduce your config (change up movement to Space), when I try to restore default, it says press W to apply changes, I press W and it works.

I just solved it by connecting a switch controller.

Hmm, that's weird because the problem can be solved with just a KB.
I think the KB control is fine myself, but I prefer playing with a controller with vi~bra~tion.

I think when changing the button, it should be replaced with the originally applied key, but it seems to be a problem caused by the original key not being changed due to a bug.

I ran into the same issue, I had remapped my spacebar to "down" accidentally and was not able to reset to default settings.

My mouse has two buttons on the side, and somehow I was able to use the "back" button to confirm and was able to reset the controls. Not sure how that worked

I have exactly the same problem, when I wanted to change the settings of my keyboard the alt key replaced the z key and it's impossible to change it now.
Will try to reinstall it
