You ever think about that?
https://everythingdenuvo.wordpress.com
does it make games stinky?
Nobody knows because nobody knows what exactly denuvo does in the background. Depends on the pc, but usually it degrades performance and adds some weird stuttering in some games like Persona, other games it drastically increases load times, stuff like that.
So how's the Irdeto offices lately?
Myth, not all get cracked that fast, if ever. The way denuvo works makes the discovery of a way around it way more random than it seems at 1st glance. Myself I don't have a problem with it unless it affects performance.
And it always affects performance, so I'm always against it.
Only a few titles take longer or remain uncracked.
If a game has intrusive DRM, I either buy it on Switch or just don't bother. Personally never pirate games, but I understand the frustration with it.
That said, if your PC is good enough, you wont really notice a 7-8% FPS hit. But to pretend it doesnt exist is foolish. Fact is, Denuvo has had a ton of different iterations over the years, dating back to the days of it literally being a rootkit before a bunch of companies got sued in the EU for it, to its most modern iterations filled with constant online checks and memory lookups.
Denuvo has a pretty bad history, and I, as well as many others, wont buy games with it in on principal.. I'll pick this game up on Switch second hand, so I dont give Square money for this DRM. Besides, I have Diablo 3 Season 28 to play with friends tonight.
Shame though, because if the PC version didnt have Denuvo or Origin Launcher DRM, I'd 100% buy this on PC.
As for idiots claiming people are only mad because they cant pirate it... They do realize that this game is on the Nintendo Switch, right? That Yuzu and Ryujinx are amazing emulators and can play the game on PC almost flawlessly? Just check their reddit. Game is easy as hell to pirate. Most anti-denuvo people just dont wanna support intrusive DRM that actively degrades the quality of their games.
