You are going to be constantly running out of ground tiles to put stuff on. The refund rate for items is not great, so if you are like me you are going to be spending the early game stacking stuff on top of other things so you can keep them for later.

Eventually you'll start to get enough space to work with. I created a kind of crafting area with storage crates and the things which let you modify drop rates. I had a whole system for storing stuff.

Mid game I used to make a lot of burgers, sandwiches and fruit to sell at the market stalls. I had a whole system for generating and storing ingredients and I made a heap of coins that way. It's also a good way to generate 'filler blocks' - foundation blocks that you use to raise the ground level, that you don't actually see because only the top, visible block matters. I needed a lot of them. Eventually it became unnecessary, but I spent quite a few days doing that.

Late game I just created the nopinator and I could completely control what items I get from coins... and a field of vending machines... and there are other ways to get a ton of stuff and manipulate the number of items you have. I feel like this is kinda spoiler territory. As I was doing that I systematically broke down my storage system and now I just make the whatever thing I need. The only permanent storage I use are the teleporting boxes and large stacks of foundation blocks which I just keep out in the open.

I guess if you've read this far, the main thing I'd say is keep at least one of everything. It makes it much easier later-on to control what you get.

or, you know, you can just have fun with it. You can't do anything to break the game. The only limitation is how much time you want to spend clicking for coins.

I've been playing another other idle clicker game. You reminded me of this game. Maybe I should return to playing this instead.

The main of it is that you can build whatever kind of garden you want. You don't have to build gardens with just things from one set, but you can if you like. You can start with any kind of coin/token also. My first coins have been ones other than Copper on multiple gardens.

I also would advise stocking up on items during early to mid game unless you know you won't want them, especially foundation/ground tiles for storing things or building your garden. Banks can be useful if you want items from a specific set. In early game, stack things that can stack to maximize your usable area, at least until you have more land to spread things out the way you want. Early to mid game, storage containers are very helpful for holding things you want to save for later while you don't have land to place everything on and have a work space.

I'd say probably save the other coins to reduce clutter, and focus copper coins. Get yourself a ton of platforms and storage boxes so that you have room to collect, and get storage that's enough to fill at least one of every item from each set.

you have actually pretty good control over rng using the shrines. if you want to get a full system set up where you can basically select an item, grind the forest collection first to get the broken shrines/tables.

how do you make burgers?
There are objects that you can get from market tokens that are pieces of burgers or sandwiches. You stack the pieces to make the burger or sandwich however you want, or how the visitor is asking for it. If you are making it for a visitor, then what they want will show as a transparent overlay on top of the request counter. Stack the pieces the overlay shows in the order the overlay shows.
