Can't select character

On a new save, fron the character selection screen, I can't select any character (a little selection animation plays, but does nothing). The "Go Back" button does nothing too.

This happens on both single and multiplayers mode.

Sorry for this frustrating experience. Is this issue reproducible? Did you eventually get it to work?

If you encounter this issue again, please use the in game bug reporting system to send me the game logs - that will greatly assist debugging. Go to Settings - Feedback and email me the log. If you literally get stuck at a certain screen, close the game application and restart it, and then go through the Settings - Feedback- email flow.

I keep having this issue, I just can't play the game. I don't really know what is going wrong, all I did was switch the game to english, create a new save and start singleplayer mode.

It's not an issue with the english version, since I also have it when switching the game to chinese. I'll send a feedback mail with my PC specs.

I have the exact same problem and can't play the game, I just sent you the log via email.

Problem is, we can't go back to send a log, we have to alt+f4 :/

That is fine, just restart game and go to feedback to send.

By looking at the log, I suspect it has something to do with System Locale. If you don't mind could you share what your system locale is? (For example is it a French locale?)

My system is in French, and the language for non-unicode programs is set to Japanese, if it can help you.

TLDR: I think I have identified the root of the issue. This occurs in some computer in certain locale. A patch is coming in the next version.

Details:
As you might have expected, the character stats is stored in a data file somewhere in the game. The problem is the format of some of the stats involve the use of non-integer number (floating point number). For example speed of Cirno could be

5.1

(five point one)

Under French locale, floating-point number is however represented using comma, not period. So "five point one" is

5,1

instead of

5.1

(notice the comma). This confuses the parser. I will just need to make sure the parser can handle different locales.
