Possibility of modding?

I know its probably a bit early to ask about modding but I have an unhealthy obsession with pixel-art games and combing through animations learning about them and seeing if I can add my own touch.
Thought admittedly I don't know a whole lot about how Unity works and if its mod friendly or not so I thought I'd ask.

Its a unity game so you'll have to find a way of unpacking the assets files. Its not too hard if you know what you're doing, just check a few youtube tutorials
