Copper Craft Order

What is your copper crafting priority? I usually do spear, pickax, tanner upgrade (leather/backpack), then crossbow. Then the sextant and the remaining tools whenever.

My number one priority is always a hatchet as it doesn't require repair (this is the only tool that brings back ingot after recycling), after that usually goes spear, forge and tanning upgrades and farming, sometimes water distiller (for additional perk point reward).
On higher difficulty where you are limited in resources definitely not a pickaxe (it requires alot of ingots to repair). For most of the time stone one is more than enough, until you unlock iron pickaxe.

I am new to playing and just got copper. I prioritised what machinery needed copper for upgrades and used it on them so that unlocked more recipes and abilities to craft much more. Then what was left over, which isnt much for my first haul, the weapon I chose to make first is the copper spear since I use the spear alot for the PvE that do fast attacks. I use the bow alot but I do ok using obsidian arrows. I will hold back on alot in the hopes that I will soon find iron, Just unlocked Puma Region!
