Clay mold for Saber

I know this has been asked before, but the thread was old and didn't really help me, so I'm trying again. I have mined, smelted, and crafted items from Iron, which is the only prerequisite I can find for unlocking the clay mold for Saber, yet my kiln crafting list does not show it. This is stopping me from upgrading my forge, and thereby progressing. Anyone have any ideas? Do I need to craft a specific item? Am I bugged?

Yeah, I went through the entire list and didn't find any help there. If you think I may have missed something, please screen shot that part and post it here for me. I honestly do not see anything I missed. I appreciate your attempt to help, I truly do!

Yup! I've made several pots in my 300+ days survived.

I'll be honest then and say I can't remember how I unlocked it. Have you got the Improved Pottery workbench and made everything available on there? Just trying to think outside of the box at things associated with clay that might help.

Yeah, I totally appreciate the brainstorming cause I'm stumped. I went through and crafted every item in game that I hadn't yet made, clay or not, hoping to unlock it somehow. The only thing I can think of is I haven't explored the last region. But I'm pretty close to end game at this point and may just have to resign myself to a playthrough that never unlocks it. Maybe I'll get it in hard mode!

I've started a new game, already got clay and unlocked the Kiln and made the strips, etc for there and the mold for sabre is still greyed out. On checking the requirements, it literally states it unlocks when you mine Iron Ore. So it definitely looks as though your game is bugged. :(

I figured. I just restarted. Lost the 365+ day game to a save bug. 😞

Do you have iron bars? I think you have to have an iron bar, but don't quote me on that. You might also need a forge. Sometimes if you click on a piece of clay or strips you can look in the bottom right and there should be a BLUEPRINTS button and then it will tell you what all it's used for and if saber mold is listed you might be able to click on that and see what's needed.

Well all, thank everyone for the help, turns out I WAS bugged. Had to restart cause the save bug corrupted all my save files. I was over 365 days in. But in the new game I was able to make the sales tablet easy peasy. Thanks again everyone!
