Why Coal / Iron

Coal 1:40 min.
Iron Ingot 1:45min.
??? Thats uncool !!!

Uhhhm? Pretend you are steelworker and have to stand by the refinery loading coal and adding more ignots. I make iron by manual waiting, doing workouts fitness.

I usually try to combine refining ingots with other processes that have a timer like curing hides. Sometimes I will refine ingots, cure hides and make alcohol at the same time. By the time I am done with the hides or alcohol the ingots are done and ready for the next load of ore. That way you can just keep going back and forth and there is no real time waiting.

No thats not the problem.
İ mean if iron ingot is made in 1 hour and 45 minutes why is one coal only burning exact 1 hour and 40 minutes? Couldn't you add to it 5 minutes so one coal is enough for one iron ingot. For 5 minutes left use a second coal... thats really uncool...

At a high enough crafting level it does reduce under 1:40. Charcoal piles make coal trivial though so I generally wouldn't worry about wasting a bit of fuel.

Anyway its a small thing but its some of those things what can annoy the player; me in special
