Twig storage?

I just crafted and placed a twig storage. I assume that is for small sticks as I have not come across any "twigs" so far. Now I only have the option to "change". I can't interact with it to place small sticks. I have 50 of them in inventory.

Never mind. I just read another post that you simply drop them into the boxed in area. I will disassemble it and just keep dropping them on the ground.

They stack in storage boxes so it's just easier to put them in there.

200 twigs per small storage box, worthwhile to build because dropping and then having to pick them up again gets tedious and time consuming.

I kind of like the look of having piles of resources scattered around the grotto. And I don't have to remember which storage box they are in.

LOL, I did at the beginning too. But when you have a pile that is over 500 twigs it gets REALLY messy, especially with all the other piles: 2 types of leaves, flowers, stones scorpions, coconuts.........
Besides, you will quickly run out of space in the grotto. Think larger area.

The twig storage has a mayor flaw sins you gotta jump inside to be able to put any twigs in there. Getting them out again is another problem. Basicly the twig storage should work the same as with a chest with a sub menu for putting stuff in or getting it out again.
For the rest it is just a visual thing that is useless in my book due to the above.
