obsidian in starter island

Heyo,

i am having a lot of trouble finding information on this game via google. If i type in obsidian in the seach here, only one entry comes up.

So my question is:
where do i find obsidian on the starter island exactly? I know it does not respawn, but not more

You can walk narrow path between starter beach and jungle. There are some rocks. It leads you to higher mountains where you find 3 obsidian mines. Becareful there may be a jackal too.

Basically there are 3 obsidian mines in the North West of Hope Island reasonably close to the coast. but you won't be able to see them from the sea. You'll have to climb up into the mountains a bit to map enough to find them.

Obsidian is mined and all mines re-spawn over time (sometimes a very long time) There are four obsidian mines on Hope Island and they will show up on your map. You can see the mines on this map screenshot along the northwester edge of the Island.
