Where can I find black widows?

The game just says "in the steppe", which presumably means either copper or red island? I haven't found any black widows anywhere on either, so am I in the wrong location, or what?

Snake Region, Silver Island, middle left half of it close to the upper rabbit spot.

Silver island flux area always 3 black widow spiders.

When on the silver island they will also bite you when you are harvesting. That is how I got my first few.

Managed to avoid them on my first trip. Went back to upgrade the ship, and had no idea where they were. Should probably add a "spiders" tag to that island.

Reminder that if you're using torch, Spiders and Scorpions won't attack, and will just run away from you.
