Building is a complex feature, we continue working on it.
Could you please share a screenshot of this piece of wall?
My workaround, was to remove a large section of building, even move some of the workbenches, box's and mounted heads near walls and it eventually worked out, just took some extra effort and thought.
No, I removed many pieces not just the problem ones, just as marsman has stated. The building mechanic leaves a lot to be desired but they are working on it.
First attempt was to add support pillars which just got stuck themselves (not recommended).
I had to remove all my second story (except parts which would not allow), all of the 1st story roof (except parts which would not allow), remove random walls and also bit by bit remove work benches, box's, skins, lamps and mounted heads from random parts of my base (not appearing to be part of the problem areas) before i could dismantle the "supporting structure" parts, this was a little annoying but worked well in the end. Giving me full ability to rebuild as i wanted and for only a loss of a few long sticks from doors or windows, the rest is fully refundable, excess items can be thrown from inventory to ground until needed while dismantling, and replacing all the cosmetic items was a fun restructure anyway. Hope that helps :)
