Transporting Logs on Canoes

Title. Is this possible at all at the moment, and if not is it planned in the future? I would like to be able to harvest the logs from the small islets around the main regions of the game :)

It isn't possible to have a log holder on any tier of the canoe, however they are the fastest vessel in the game, also I think it is intentional because the canoe is more for speed than size, there simply wouldn't be room for a logholder on it :)

Yeah I figured as much, but it would be nice to have a way to transport logs across islands— cheers!

I never even bothered with that, just went straight for the canoe. I've been setting up workbenches everywhere to process logs, pants...
I think there is a large sailing vessel going to be in the next update so it's possible that will be able to transport logs.

You can already build that, it's called the catamaran and you'll need copper and seaweed fabric to make it. It is however significantly much more fragile than the two before it

The tier 3 raft and the tier 3 catamaran both have log holders (6 logs).

Cool video. Thanks for the info about the log holders. I went straight to the canoe and was missing that.

I was able to ship/transport in my canoe by 1 piece of log, tho' it is a struggle. Sometimes it fell off and submerged into the bottom, especially when docking.
