Underwater chest treasures
Nice idea with looking for underwater treasures in chests. But once I opened them I was very disappointed. Completly broken copper knife (0 durability left), completly broken iron flint etc. Is it bugged or it is supposed to be that way?
Finding broken items you can only trash away makes it very unrewarding.

I agree they should be half broken or more sturdy. More then 1 trinket per chest would be nice also, but its not that important. We need to keep the idea that survival is hard and that we have a scarcity of resources unless we go get them ourselves.

The developers seem to have fixed this by now because the 4 underwater chests I opened so far contained in total: a snake potion, coral ointment, resin ointment, 2 skin ropes and even a Navy Coat 3/4 intact!

Items you mentioned (rope / potions) dont have durability so they cant be broken. Coat I found also was only exception and wasnt broken (and if so its only item worth repairing).
Items I mentioned - copper knife, iron flint was found as broken and there wasn't bugfix mentioning about it being fixed, so I suppose once you find them they will be in broken state too.

I also just found a copper knife almost completely intact. It is so neat for me to go wreck diving again and through the rock formations, plan your dive and dive your plan =D
