Even Duke5 is pretty much buried for good...
It's a game about shooting dinos after all, not as if we need RPG deep scenarios.
Turok 2 was good because there were some cutscenes without overstaying its welcome for the rest of the game. I haven't played 3 yet.
Perfect Dark had a good amount of story but was still action focused. I fear the reboot would go too much into scenario and monologuing.
I still have Turok on a CD.
Im glad this isn't another Doom Eternal, we already have Doom Eternal.
after Space Marine I trust Saber. This will be where they make it or break it.
I'd rather have Turok be like a good Quakelike myself.
No FPS, no blood and gore and always online? What a way to disappoint the fans
The game will feature a solo experience of some kind as well. I'm also fairly confident saber is going to be smart enough to implement first person. I'd like to think they will also have some PvP action, but we'll see.
This game seems to want to be way to many things... co op and third person and what else ?
There is a fanbase for Turok so make a Turok game that is a mix of the old ones and make a badass story and you will sell loads.. but nah instead they go for something that is so far from Turok you could possibly go.
I will of course check it out when it comes out. But i doubt i will buy it.
