Of course there was also Powerslave/Exhumed on the Saturn and PSX that also was a more open adventure FPS but I'm quite glad that the first person genre managed to diversify itself than having Doom-likes.
I'm wondering if we could get indie FPS more inspired by games like Quake II, Goldeneye, Turok 2 among others.
Too many are getting far too worked up over thirty seconds of footage and going off half ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over nothing. Nobody knows anything about the game and going down some doom spiral is of no help to anyone.
Yes, the game could very well end up being bad, but equally it could end up being rather good. If we can survive the monumental disappointment of Evolution and the equally boring 2008 reboot, we can all unclench a bit about this game.
Yeh no kidding Sherlock. Saber Interactive don't need to clarify jack, they've done more than enough in showing off the game this early. If you haven't played the new Space Marine 2 I highly recommend doing so, it will give you at least some semblance of what most of us are in for = a good time.
♥♥♥♥ me gamers man any wonder y'all making a name for yourselves as the saltiest things on the planet.
From a Turok fan sincerely wait till it releases, give it a chance.
