It would be good because the "Remote-Play" gives a lot of lag..., I have friends from others Countries..., an online multiplayer would be better..., with or without dedicated server..., so you can play with someone close to your region would be much better...

Let us play with new friends we meet online.

These days for a lot of people it is either play online with strangers or play alone.
This game seems made for online coop.

Co-op costs time and money to implement, and many indie developers can't afford to do so. This game comes from a tiny developer in Singapore. That said, as I mentioned earlier, the dev has discussed the possibility of adding online in the future:

I've been looking at this game for some time now, and would love online support for it. One of the main reasons TMNT is one of the best beat em ups right now.
