Couple tips though.
do dash cancels and jump cancels during the basic combo. This will improve game feel a lot
special cancel into other specials and then tag mid special to cover the first character better
some characters let you dash cancel mid basic combo and then start doing the basic combo again while the enemy is still in hit stun (most useful for marian imo)
dash canceling mid basic attack is your best evasive option
you can yeet your character over a bottomless pit and then tag out and double jump back to safety and your inactive character will not take damage
Hi Double Dragon Gaiden Developers! Congratulations on the game, I'm having a lot of fun.My questions and suggestions:
1 - About Crowd control popups, its possible offer a toggle to disable them or make them more subtle.
2 - I found it very strange that you guys didn't put the characters Sonny Lee, Urquidez and Masao Oyama, (all from Arcade's DD3), and mainly Yagyu Ranzol and Chin Seimei, both from NES's DD3.Do you intend to add them to the game?
3 - The movement and attacks in the game seem a little slow... is it possible to make it a little faster?
4 - Is it possible to put an option to choose how to use the run in the game? Add double tap to run, plz!?
5 - Something very annoying is happening in the game: I think I wasn't able to be clear in what I said, English is not my native language and I have difficulties with it: Enemies are hitting out of line/range. Was it supposed to be like this or are you going to fix it?I hope it's a bug and that you guys fix it... it really drives anyone crazy... The situation is that the enemies are hitting the players not being exactly in front of them. This has nothing to do with attacks throwing any weapons or specials. The issue is that if you are above or below the enemy, and not aligned with them, they are still able to hit you with close attacks. Example: The character is on top of the bar counter on Lady Okada's screen, and you are exactly below the counter, if he starts punching he hits you, even if you are not in line range with him. I believe this is a bug, isn't it?
6 - Why didn't you make dedicated endings for each character enabled in the game? It's very frustrating to have Bios with such interesting information about the characters and not have anything else about how they ended up in this game! Some of the motivation to play with them is gone, as there's no ending for them. Please, consider fixing this mistake! Please??!
The game as a whole fun, but there are things to be polished! Thx a lot for this game! I truly believe in you and your ability to make it even better than it already is!
