Auto Fire?
I'd really like to dive in to this game a bit more, but I much prefer auto aim and auto fire. Auto aim is an option, but not auto fire, which means I have to constantly spam the fire button, which isn't too fun. Is there a possibility there will be auto fire in a future update?

Unless you're referring to abby's ability, you can keep the button held down and you will keep firing.

you can hold down the fire button (and abby's special (maybe just in the beta branch))

I've got carpel tunnel so I REALLY wish this game had auto fire , holding a button is just as bad as mashing one for 20 minutes , there's no real reason you couldn't have auto fire so I think it's just something the dev refuses to do , same with Rerolls or Banish , people have asked for it a lot and no luck.

I actually started playing another game specifically because it was a LOT like 20 minutes till dawn but it had auto fire , rerolls , banish , basically it does all the stuff I wish this game would do. (I know don't shill other games in a different game thread , it's bad manners , but I think it's pretty relevant in this case)

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2083160/Disfigure/ surprisingly despite it being as good as 20 minutes til dawn Disfigure is free , like legit free no BS in game purchase crap , just a dev who made a game and gave it away.

It's worth checking out if you want a 20 minutes type game but with auto fire.

You can hold down the mouse button, tab out of the game, release the mouse button and then tab in again. Doing so will make the game act as if you're still holding the mouse button down. Unfortunately, the effect breaks as soon as you actually press the mouse button, which you have to do every time you level up, so this is only practical for endless mode.

I do not know why there is no option to make the shoot or don't shoot a toggle instead of requiring you to hold the mouse button down.

You guys are forgetting that reload happens whenever one don't shot, which is crucial in early minutes and probably why auto-fire is not there in the first place.
