Cyclone sword too good?

As a person who is not very skilled at these types of games i feel that the sword is too good. I have won every single game with the sword but switching to other weapons I die very quickly. When I first tried it I thought it was just a good pair with the deer girl but I have been using the sword on every character and am completing them first try with it even while getting unlucky with level ups. What are yall's thoughts?

The big thing is that it is a weapon that doesn't take a while to get online. Other weapons are stronger when the build gets going, but this one starts strong and stays strong.

Pair it with Abby and you pretty much spin to win. D15 was a joke, focus on fire rate and bullet damage with maybe survivability. What's dumb is that Abby's special isn't affected by walk speed...that means you can pick up the tome that gives -100% walk speed with absolutely no consequence if you only spam her special. You can build her in a way where no mobs (including trees) can get near you because of the constant knockback (you can do freeze if desired). If you also go the curse route (evolution + skills related) you can deal stupid damage. The only downside is that you still have to dodge the bullets, you can mitigate this with wind shield rune though.

Yeah its OP as others have mentioned, very strong early, mid and late game. Basic synergies are all you need. I easily cleared 15 and the new end boss on my first try with it.

[Null Winter]

The Wind Katana variant with some Speed upgrades, not even fully optimized, can easily clear over 800 damage per projectile with more reach, shots-per-second, and coverage than any version of the poor Shotgun or Crossbow. I feel like it casually does the jobs of more specialized weapons better than they do, while also maintaining its own unique advantages.
