What exactly makes it fun? I have large hands and struggle with the control scheme without an external controller. I find that I don't nearly have as much precision with mobile version.

It would also be helpful for the devs if you can please explain what makes the PC version inferior in terms of fun.

Don't know to me the mobile version controls are ♥♥♥♥. Shooting is fine(autotarget) but trying to kite mobs is a nightmare.

Pc on the side is smooth as butter, mouse or gamepad.

I only tried the free version tho.

This another grenade launcher upgrades hurt you thread. Since they can't on mobile...

I would say it´s the way mobs spawn. In the PC version they´re constantly spawning in the direction you´re running so you get boxed in. Like, all of the time. And it get progressively worse.

So? Kill them. Rip and tear.

So there is a play style difference ? Interesting , maybe for mobile they spawn differently because of hardware limitations.

I prefer the pc style , enemies boxing you in is kind of the whole point to these survivor type games,

You kill them fast enough and instead of boxing you in , you are the one circle strafing them and murdering whole groups, then the chaos begins when a big wave spawns and you have to survive until you get strong enough to flip it around again and go on the offensive.

If you just like to steam roll big groups of enemies that's more like traditional ARPG's (path of exile, diablo etc etc) not as much Action Rogue-like (vampire survivor type.)

I like those kinds of games too but for ARPG I like less RNG, progressing in those games is mostly doing bossing and finding good loot.

So the mobile version is easier? Guess that makes sense.

i definitively agree Mobile version is much better
i play it the same way on both PC/Mobile with the same Bluetooth controller so except from the screen size experience i can compare feeling on both platform

in fact PC version look like a stopped version of the game, and mobile go further in development

the thing that kill the PC version is that having a controller i m still have to play close to my keyboard, because i need to switch between manual and auto targeting with space key whereas on mobile version i move with my left controller, and when i use the right controller it switch manually to targeting mode and when i leave it untouched it switch back to auto targeting

there is also a shop for cosmetic change with later end game useless runes

and movement seems smother on Mobile, but that may come from the smaller screen

also a bug in PC that i did not encounter in Mobile version, some time fire get "stick" and you still fire while not triggering fire anymore, which in some case can be very annoying while trying to dodge some monster

so Mobile version is more advanced than PC version

Better depends on your qualifications, as seen above.

If you play with a controller it might be a better experience idk since I don't... but touchscreen is a pretty terrible experience for playing games particularly for movement and well your fingers obscuring wherever yer touching.

It's definitely easier aside from the controls though,

no self harm grenade launcher (wish we could have the delayed explosion back on pc thats fun) enemies move different.

2 less upgrade trees as its lagging behind on updates. (less bloat makes the game easier)

Tome of rage only reduces bullet dmg by 10% instead of 50% knock back only 20% instead of 95 % making it absolutely broken. Dragon only takes a minute to spawn tome of power only reduces fire rate by 5%, Tome of summoning reduces reload speed by 10% instead of 50%........ elasticity only 5% bullet damage reduction opposed to 25%. Bosses appear to have less health but I'm not certain about this one (not at d15 yet but comparing it to d1 on pc).

The only exception being tome of elements which for some reason reduces bullet damage by 50%.

Only forest is available unless the other maps have different unlock requirements of mobile im not aware of? Either way Forest being significantly easier than temple alone is enough to know that mobile version is in fact easier.

Anyway all that aside, yes it's easier but that's not a bad thing considering that touchscreen controls are ass and the game wouldn't be fun if it was as hard as on pc lol. I'd recommend it if you want something to do on your phone.

Edit:
Forgot to talk about the shop, would be nice to have on pc also but is just cosmetic and uses ingame currency unlike other mobile games. Shame 20mtd only has one dev working on 3? Games.

Hey little bunny
Mobile version actually feels far more polished and the controls ironically seem to work better. I'm flabbergasted. At this point if someone asked me whether they should play this on steam or an iPad, I would actually say iPad right now.

I've actually noticed that this is occurring more often than one might think (where the mobile version of a game feels more fun to play either with touchscreen or a controller, than a mouse and keyboard or controller on PC). Games with lots of movement tend not to translate as well to mobile (compared to their PC counterparts), but they are improving significantly due to gyroscope controls, better touchscreens, and mobile game controller support (i.e. Gunfire Reborn Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile, and PUBG Mobile). From what I have played, deckbuilding games seem to actually work much better on a touchscreen than on a PC with mouse and keyboard.

Obviously PC gaming will always be better overall, but it's kind of cool to have something I can just play with an everyday device while on the bus or laying in bed (I don't plan on buying a Steam Deck and I mostly use my iPad for work and personal planning).
