about the sound, just mute the game.
two problems solved, thank me later.
Keep playing your bad game then. I used to like it till all the bugs and garbage design decisions ruined it. At least it was just 3 bucks.
I understand your point however, when I first started playing I very much was put off by the auto-reload because I felt like it was interrupting my flow and when I wanted to reload. However I only seem to sometimes have issues with it force reloading after a level up or if you get the talent which gives you bullets back on xp pickup, which can lead to you firing one bullet of your 25 round SMG because it continually reloads one bullet at a time.
I feel like it's just something you get used to rather than it being a flaw. It ultimately can be gotten used to and it doesn't have an major issues in terms of game design (Aside from the reload pick up upgrade) in regards to the reloading for me.
When I say auto fire I mean like the character just shoots continuously from a single button press I'm not trying to spam left click to fire multiple times here.
It's just when you get to later waves you are holding LMB for minutes at a time and it is not very good for somebody who suffers from carpal tunnel like me.
I understand the the reload thing is just a pet peeve but it's just so strange to have an auto reload and not an auto fire in a game like this or any game really.
Do you know of any other game where your character starts to reload their gun as soon as you stop shooting for any amount of time?
Imagine an FPS where the moment you don't have a full mag your character will start to reload the gun but even if you can "cancel" out of the animation how disorienting will it be to you if you suddenly have to shoot?
It is a strange design decision that wasn't there at the start and I'm baffled why he added it when nobody asked for such a thing.
I do not find the auto reload disorienting. I suspect that the reason some people do is because they are due to other games used to not being able to shoot while reloading and the have a difficult time convincing their brains that this is not the case.
The auto reload decision is not strange, it would be a strange decision in the vast majority of games, but it is not in this game.
I do however think it would be a good idea to make the auto reload optional in a future update and maybe also have a way to turn on and off an auto fire.
Is this not normal? can people shoot the pistol then wait a second and shoot again without a big delay? its not a big problem for me but I would like to fix that if possible.
