Interesting Combos and Bugs
So, I am going to start making a list of Perk Interactions or Bugs that may be of keen interest for one reason or another.

If you see [Perk]/[Perk], it means that they are part of a Perk Tree, listing the first Perk for the Tree, then the main Perk for the Combo/Bug.

Minimal Requirements are listed as the absolute minimal for you to be able to achieve the combo/bug. This is not taking into account the Random nature of the game and assume best outcomes for Perk Rolls from Mini-Bosses and Level Ups to get what is needed.



Combos:
(Near) Infinite Bullets:
Holy Shield/Divine Wrath + Electro Mage + Electro Mage/Electro Bug + Electro Mage/Energized + Rapid Fire/Siege
Min Requirements: Level 8 (7 if Blessed Rune)
The combo is pretty easy to get off the ground, being accessible as early as level 8 (7 if you have the Blessing Rune) if you get some lucky rolls for Perks. Effectively gives you a near infinite ammo clip for most guns as long as you stand still. Doesn't work with the Crossbow or the Mini-Clip Synergy, but works best with Abby using either Flame Cannon or Grenade Launcher.

Frost Circle:
Double Shot/Fan Fire + Quick Hands/Fresh Clip + Frost Mage + Miniclip Synergy
Min Requirements: Level 6
Fan Fire shoots out bullets in all directions when you fire you last round, Miniclip makes it so you reload after every shot. So every time you shoot all surrounding enemies become frozen. Just focus on getting as much fire rate and reload speed as you can to minimize the time between shots. Combines really well with the Courage Rune, that pushes back enemies when you reload. Past The Future run this combo with shotgun, though is not sure how it is with other guns. - Submitted by Past The Future

True Assassin:
Shana: Specialize + Take Aim/Assassin
Min Requirements: Miniboss killed before Level 3
Enemies below 60% health die immediately. I shouldn't really need to explain why this is good. - Submitted by Past The Future
Note: You need to get Specialize before Assassin, and you have to take Assassin immediately after getting Specialize for this to work.

Bugs:
Magic Refill:
Rapid Fire/Siege + Ethereal Rune
Min Requirements: Level 3
A strange bug occurs when you have these 2 things. Ethereal makes it so you have infinite ammo when you killed 50 enemies. Siege makes it where you don't spend ammo 33% of the time when you stand still. But when you have both active, when Ethereal kicks in, Siege will actually refill your ammo by 1 33% of the time. I assume this is because Siege is coded to instant replace the depleted ammo instead of actually skip it's usage, but when you are not using ammo in the first place... Well...

Bounce+Pierce=No Bounce?
(Anything that gives Bounce) + (Anything that gives Piercing)
A more annoying bug that I have noticed. I am a very big fan of the Bounce abilities, I have learned to avoid anything that gives Piercing at this point. Something about the 2 don't mix well, and you either completely lose Bounce in favor of Pierce. Or, more commonly, you bullets loose both properties and act like normal Bullets again.

Bullets pierce first then bounce. But bullets have a duration. If they've run out of duration before they've been able to hit enough targets to start bouncing then they won't. Bullet speed helps with this, since it makes them cover more distance in the same amount of time, so they'll hit more targets.

The Evil Eye right upgrade says that it applies "On-Hit" effects, but I can't figure out what that is supposed to be.

e.g. Burn doesn't work, not from the burn gun, nor the burn chance rune, nor the burn chance skill.

Makes me wonder if perhaps this is a bug.

It applies "On Hit" effects of your Bullets to the Gaze damage ticks. Thing is, it still follows all the same rules as the normal on hits. So 35% for freeze with Frost Mage, 50% for fire with Pyro Mage, insta-kill if below 20% if you have Assassin.

Over all, the Glare tree is pretty poor, in most builds being dead perks and I normally just avoid them unless I have nothing better to take.

Fan Fire shoots out bullets in all directions when you reload, Miniclip makes it so you reload after every shot. So every time you shoot all surrounding enemies become frozen. Just focus on getting as much fire rate and reload speed as you can to minimize the time between shots. Combines really well with the permanent upgrade rune that pushes back enemies when you reload. I run this combo with shotgun, not sure how it is with other guns.

Frostbite + Shatter + Assassin:
It doesn't even really matter how much damage your bullets deal because freezing enemies at most 4 times kills them (Usually only 1-2 times if you have some damage), and they explode propagating death throughout packs of enemies. Doesn't directly apply to bosses, but the assassin culling and shatter damage from other enemies still does wonders.

I tried for dozens of hits on a big group of enemies with Pyro Mage and wasn't able to get any burns at all.

Have you observed it working, or do you just know that it is intended to work this way?

I have seen it proc on Frost Mage before, though rarely since I normally don't let enemies get that close in the first place unless I am reloading.

Not notable on its own? How the hell do you figure? It's damage output and clear potential are unmatched. That combo alone has been carrying me through the game. I'm on Darkness 12 so far and I win every run that I have that combo.

Well, mostly because you would have mostly the same effect without Assassin, seeing as Frost Bite lowers their HP by 25% each freeze, and Shatter deals 25% of their health as a small AoE. All Assassin really brings to the table in that combo is reducing the amount of hp that needs to be missing for the other to trigger, though if you are dealing low damage, you would still most likely need to freeze them 3~4 times at to till them.

I feel like you are undervaluing how much consistency this brings to the propagation through packs of enemies. Even with garbage damage I still clear massive packs of enemies as long as they're clumped up. But sure it is the same overall effect, I'll give you that.

when using abby's ability which is supposed to unload your clip in random directions, the firestarter perk, and the perk that shoots on bullet behind you on every shot; will not be shot in random directions and can be aimed. While I understand that this helps the player, It goes against the spirit of abby's ability imo

Prolly not super-powered compared to all the OTHER specialize combos - but hilarious. Shana's specialize + dragon egg nets you THREE DRAGONS. Unfortunately, only really effective if you get specialize from the first boss.

I would like to put a build recommended to me. Hina + Focal lens.
The shadows attack gets affected by the magic/focal lens and gets absurdly large with the capstone feature. It also scales with all bullet damage, summon damage and attack speed and elemental effects so it pops off.
