WASD is terrible any controller ACCess ??

using wasd for movement is not cool in the age of controllers and orbweavers. Any help in this department expected to allow better controls for keybinds ?

im having trouble with controller. i hit play and theres no input when selecting modes

I am playing this game and there is nothing wrong with the WASD keyboard and mouse like what so ever. This game is 100% designed around this, how on earth are you even having issues?

I'm used to using a joystick to control movement. not a key board. its a NAGA Orbweaver. The only time i use a keyboard is to type responses like this. Its not a matter of the keyboard, i said it was terrible because that is not the interface I'm accustomed to using in over 1000s of games played or reviewed.

I'm asking if their is going to be any controller patch updates to be rid of the archaic use of WASD or assigned keys to a Controller.

If you mistook it for having tech issues with a keyboard, your mistaken, but understandable, you've not moved your gaming into a more modern form of control. your forgiven.

*You* don't need controller support. It's also about accessibility. Some people are way more comfortable using a controller. In my case it's because I'm a leftie and WASD isn't very comfortable to use. It's playable in this game, but still.

What in the world is this? some elitist view on the gaming community... hardly anyone uses any sort of gamepads nowadays, controllers? yes, but gamepads? nah that is such a nieche item.

On to the question though, I do agree with controller support or atleast letting people rebind their keybinds, I do think it would take some time though.

Either remap your controls in "Big Picture Mode" or use something like "Joy2Key". You can use a controller with anything on pc...

WASD referred to as "archaic" is hilarious. It's definitely old, but controllers/gamepads are MUCH older. Controllers and gamepads were used in the 70s. In the 80s for PC gaming, typically if not using a joystick the ARROW KEYS were used for movement. WASD didn't really start being a thing until the mid 90s or so, and really not until the early 00s.

Note I'm talking about defaults here, I'm sure people used WASD before it was "standard."

I am not sure what issues you are having but it seems fine with wasd. But then again, i hate controllers.
