I’ve put almost 40 hours into the game, completing 100% of the doctor tasks and nearly 100% of the main trader tasks. I used placement to stock up on everything and the board to stock up on guns. After hours of farming, I was in the minefield and accidentally jumped off the top of the tower, resulting in my death. I was immediately respawned in the attic, but I discovered I had lost everything and was reset to a starter package. I want to make it clear that I did not choose "New Game" and wasn’t even presented with that option when I loaded back in.

I’m not sure if anyone has figured out how to create a manual backup save, but I highly recommend doing so in case this happens to you.

That's sound like what happens when you die in vostok area, you sure you died in minefield area not the radar right behind?

Yep, I tried what you said, jump down from a tower in minefield.
I lost everything with me but everything else in attic stay where they are.

I wish it was only the things on me I lost and not the entire stash in the attic. The other thing that was strange was I did not get the option to load, it just loaded me back in the attic with everything wiped out.
