Your GPU must be (literally) hot garbage if you think its going to overheat because you wont disable vsync lmao. Where the ♥♥♥♥ did you pull this information from?
If anything, getting a higher FPS in any game causes your CPU to work harder, especially if you gpu is at max load. You do typically want to see your GPU in the range of 90-100% utilisation so, again, I ask you where you got this false info from?
If developers don't take inspiration and/or lessons from existing titles then there will be no better (or worse) alternatives for said titles. Why do you think people complain about GTA Online so much but still return to it? Cuz no real alternatives other than FiveM (it's like the DarkRP of GTA though) exist.
Valve did a good job of showing how their development of Left 4 Dead went in the Developer Commentary, you can see how PAYDAY adapted the L4D formula, expanded upon it and was one of the best co-op shooters for a while.
More like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. since it's single player, but yeah, must be a Tarkov clone because it's first person with guns, looting and AI, get real man. Besides, Tarkov rocks the Unity engine and VERY well at that. Not sure you really thought about your post. This is a proof of concept demo that is asking for constructive criticism, that implies the use of critical thinking, your failure to even realize it does have vsync is proof you haven't used that skill in your analysis. It runs super smooth on my ancient RTX 1060 powered laptop without melting it after extended play. You may want to flex that "new to you skill of critical thinking" to review you PC's settings.
So have u ever seriously tried gamedev by urself? If not, u don't know what ure talking about. Unity may not be as good as unreal when it comes to Graphics, but they're improving, as unreal is with its acessibility. The game is pretty similar to tarkov, and at the moment it still has many bugs n stuff but its only a 1st demo. Also I had no such performance issues u mention and don't have highend hardware.
> Talking about concept idea, do we really need yet another escape from tarkov but worse? I don't think so. There is already a playable product which you can play instead of waiting for this game to release in EA.
Yeah buddy you just called EFT a playable product xd that ♥♥♥♥ is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ right now.
Also this demo isn't a demo per se, it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pre alpha preview/testing/open showcase, nothing else.
