If you set the refresh on the 20th day, the material will be refreshed on the 20th day.

Can we set loot to not respawn as an option. I like to clear places and move on
Not including things that should regrow like plants ect

Also do items despawn?
I like to decorate and place items around my base, do items stay in the world
At least for singleplayer(my preferred style)

One extra question as its kinda related, can we have a 'place item mode'
Like we go to our inventory and select an item and select 'place' which gives us a build like placement mode allowing us to see where we are placing an item with rotation ect
Just like building a structure

Perhaps something like every item in the game has a buildable version(just like buildable structures) so when we place an item its really just a built structure but looks like the item where we can activate it and the real item goes back into our inventory. Its for decoration and easy storage without a container but anyone can pick it up so its not as secure as the items being locked in a storage box

If you set the time to 0, it means that the item will not be refreshed.

If the object is dropped on the ground, it will disappear after 60 minutes, and the accelerated time is also included.

So dose this time account for all items everywhere or is this different types?
I want items(man made things) to not respawn but things light plants(natural resources) to respawn. This way if i want things i have to move around the map but i can always find basic things to craft things from sticks rudementy materials ect

So by accelerated time you mean time to despawn, so i guess i can set this to a massive number to make items stay or would 0 work as disabling the timer?
Would they stay through a save and load though?

This is partly why i suggest the 'place mode' thing
So i can place down an item as if it was a buildable wall/floor ect
So this saves and stays just like any buildable, my thought was access the buildable for each item from the inventory as a 'place' option this action cost the real item to build. This buildable are activatable and destroy themselves on activation and return the real item to your inventory aka you pick it back up. You can the have many functional and portable things like a lantern or a portable cap stove, these you have in your inventory but you can place down and activate for a 'use' or 'pickup' option. Allowing use to place permanent versions of items this way means actual dropped items can can still despawn as normal only intentionally placed items save there position in the world.
You could then let a server control if this is possible or not to help performance of too many placed items. Something like a server wide filter list and max count, this would be useful for all buildable as a server can set max number of certain things and even set some to 0 and block players from building them ect

If you know of a game called 'Scum' it has a feature where you can drag items from your inventory right out into the world with a visual placement and rotation mode
See here at the 2 minute mark
https://youtu.be/M-1T2khii3M?t=121 this guy drags an item from the inventory out into the world allowing for a nice smooth decoration experience
So doing this places down a 'built' version of the item and removes the item from your inventory. We can then mouse over the items and have some options depending on what the item is. If its a food item we can get options to 'eat' or 'pickup'
Eat just removed the world item and adds the food to your inventory and auto consumes it
pickup just adds the item back to the inventory and removes it from the world.

I feel like im over explaining lol sorry just trying to be clear with what i mean :)
