I play with my friends but many time we can not play all together. So it would be nice if i can create and host my own dedicated server and get it running 24/7. So everyone can play at any time ;D

buy the game on another pc, put graphics at low, host the game on that one, you will have a 5 slots "dedicated server" XD

Why not? You have a great base you have started from, and a lot of people are looking for this kind of game but with dedicated servers. So many "copycats" have these kind of servers, where people make their own and friends join, but they just don't seem to draw a mass audience. Are you waiting until you fix most of the bugs? Or what is your timeline for dedicated servers?

Just an FYI, there are a few games that are very similar to this that are coming out in the next couple months where they will have dedicated servers, if you want your game to be as popular and make you a lot more money I would make that your 2nd priority after fixing the major bugs this game may have. This is coming from someone who constantly looks up games on steam within this genre, and would want your game to succeed.

I agree. I do not think survival game is good to play alone. Dedicated servers is the way because as i told, it is hard get one time that all my friends can play together. No matter how good a game can be, if it do not have dedicated server, me neither my friends will play. We will look for another game we can play.
So yeah, its the game i got out my list.

Completely agree. If I can't host my own dedicated server on my own hardware I don't even bother with the game. Very disappointing.

Unless the dedicated Servers are supported many players will leave after getting bored. You might want to rethink this.

Good evening I did well to read the comments I almost bought the game when I see that there will be no dedicated server I am glad not to have taken it too bad for the dev it loses players like that

Thank you for the information. Was about to buy the game too after watching the stream at the "wautscher" last Saturday. But without dedicated server it is uninteresting for me and my friends.

Without dedicated servers I don't think the game will be a success just by the fact that in the coming weeks months some games will be released.
